Reiki 2 Training & Certification Program

The term 'Reiki' embodies the gentle exchange of universal life force energy. Rooted in profound meaning, 'Rei' signifies 'universal wisdom,' while 'Ki' represents the essence of 'life force energy.' This energy pathway flows through the hands, revitalizing the key energy centers within the body.

Reiki emerges as a universal, compassionate force that orchestrates healing across multiple dimensions. Its touch ushers deep relaxation, balance, and tranquility into the recipient's being. Yet, Reiki's potential extends even further.

Interconnected in an intricate dance, our energy systems encompass the mind, body, and soul. Every component resonates with the others, weaving a tapestry of influence. When a purifying, rejuvenating energy courses through the physical vessel, its touch reverberates within the spiritual realm and the mind's landscape. This is Reiki's artistry: a cleansing, revitalizing flow that harmonizes the physical, mental, and emotional facets.

Reiki distinguishes itself through the process of 'attunement’, placement, or initiation. Unlike other healing approaches, Reiki doesn't hinge on intuition or an innate gift. It's an art that can be mastered by all. Through attunement, every student embarks on a journey of learning and initiation into the realm of Reiki. This journey bestows the ability to channel healing energy, an ability that can be shared with others if chosen. For some, it becomes a vessel of personal growth, fostering a profound connection with oneself.

Program Details

In this twelve-week experiential and comprehensive course, you will welcome the transformative powers of Reiki into your life and experience the healing for yourself.  The course has been segmented into Reiki 1 & Reiki 2 levels, each unfolding a unique chapter of mastery. Encompassing the comprehensive education and tools you seek, this journey empowers you to harness healing energy for yourself and your own life’s tapestry first, and if you so desire, for others as well.

• Give you a working system for healing yourself, your friends and your loved ones.
• Show you how to practice Reiki from the comfort of your own home.
• Help you discover the power of Reiki from the great Reiki Masters Usui, Hayashi, and Takata as taught by William Lee Rand.
• Hold a safe space and community for you as you welcome Reiki into your life and experience its transformative nature.
• Teaches you a direct and proven path to moving from Reiki practitioner to Reiki Master faster than you would ever believe.

Taught by Christine W. McDonough, Reiki Master Teacher & Holistic Wellness Specialist.  Christine is an experienced Holistic Wellness Specialist, spiritual life coach, and Reiki Master Teacher and founder of Conscious Wellness and Movement.  She has spent over a decade in the health and wellness industry as a coach.  Christine is passionate about holding her clients and students' hands as they embrace any transformative journey, but especially as a Reiki practitioner.  She believes this is crucial to the success of her coursework.

Program Details

The Reiki 2 Training and Certification Course is an intensive and immersive virtual and in-person program from November 7 – December 17th, 2023. The program consists of five group trainings including two Saturday or Sunday immersive trainings and nine weekday evening trainings comprising 13.5 hours in class time. Students are expected to complete 1-2 hours weekly of practice including meditation, breathwork, and Reiki - both self and partner once attuned!

• Reiki 2 Placements in the Himalayan Salt Room at Marc of Healing
